Each check evaluates explicit Jira signals without generative AI.

The seven checks

ReleaseProof checks that acceptance criteria are present, workflow status is accepted, subtasks are closed, blocking links are absent, the expected release version is assigned, no blocker label exists, and the approval marker is present.

  • Acceptance criteria present
  • Accepted workflow status
  • No open subtasks
  • No blocking issues
  • Correct release version
  • No blocker label
  • Approval documented
  • Each rule returns a stable pass or fail
  • Every finding connects to an in-scope issue
  • No generative model interprets the content

Supported acceptance criteria

The Jira description or a custom string field can provide the presence signal. Numeric, option, user, array, date, boolean, and other technical values are not treated as text.

Interpretation

A passing presence check does not prove semantic quality. Reviewers remain responsible for sufficiency and correctness.
